Kindergarten - 5th Grade:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Wednesday (early release): 9:30 AM - 2:45 PM

 

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Everyday school is in session, unless otherwise posted.  Summer hours may vary, please call ahead.

 

 

2nd and 3rd Grade, 3 and 3/4 SWAS:  12:30- 1:15 pm

 

Grades K/1/4/5:  1:45-2:00 pm

Grades 2/3/SWAS:  2:15-2:30 pm

 

 

If your child is five years old on or before August 1, 2026, they can enroll in kindergarten for the upcoming school year.  Registration is a two-step process.  First, please complete the online registration on the District website, washoeschools.net.  You will look for kindergarten registration.  Your second step is to bring your zoned school:  your child's original birth certificate, vaccination records and proof of residency in the form of a mortgage statement or lease agreement and a power bill.  Please bring your documents to the school office prior to June 8th.  After June 8th, please call the school for drop off hours.  Please find attached a document regarding school vaccinations.  Resource for Schools, Vaccinations

 

Back-to-School Open House & Ice Cream Social 

For the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to try something new! Instead of hosting a traditional back-to-school evening event, we will hold our Open House on Friday, August 7, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. 

Students and families are invited to visit their classroom, drop off supplies, and meet their new teacher. This will be an informal meet-and-greet, giving you the opportunity to explore the classroom, reconnect with friends, and take a tour of the school. 

We are also partnering with our amazing PTO to make this event even more special—an ice cream truck will be on site for families to enjoy! 

Please Note - this Open House will take the place of both our traditional Back-to-School Night and Sunday Ice Cream Social. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and kicking off a fantastic school year together and August 7th!
