Kindergarten Registration for School Year 2026-2027 at Hunsberger

If your child is five years old on or before August 1, 2026, they can enroll in kindergarten for the upcoming school year.  Registration is a two-step process.  First, please complete the online registration on the District website, washoeschools.net.  You will look for kindergarten registration.  Your second step is to bring your zoned school:  your child's original birth certificate, vaccination records and proof of residency in the form of a mortgage statement or lease agreement and a power bill.  Please bring your documents to the school office prior to June 8th.  After June 8th, please call the school for drop off hours. 

Incoming Kindergartners:  Please join us for a playdate on the Hunsberger kindergarten playground, Wednesday, May 20th, from 3:15-4:00 pm.  It's a great chance to meet the kindergarten teaching team, our PTO, make new friends and connect with other families!  See you there!
